I'm now officially a Zend Certified Engineer (PHP5), I passed the test! :) I scheduled the test through my local test-center here in Malmö, which is cornerstone, ran a few mock-tests over at phparch.com and then went for the live test and made it. The certificate has been on my "wanted" list for a few years but not until now I really decided to make a run for it for real. Since it's quite expensive to take the test (~€125) that would also be a huge drawback if I failed. I can now entitle myself as a Zend Certified Engineer (ZCE), one of only eight people in Sweden that has that certificate for PHP5 as of today (Where I am the 8'th person). Now I'm just waiting to get listed at Zend Yellow Pages.
UPDATED 2009-02-23 More information about what the certification is all about: http://www.zend.com/en/services/certification/php-5-certification/ And here's a direct-link to myself at the Zend PHP Yellow Pages http://zend.com/zce.php?c=ZEND010181&r=229112889 |
